‘Avengers: Age Of Ultron’: Scarlet Witch and QuickSilver Posters Finally Arrive
  |  @   |

So after the Avenger’s hero character poster release campaign, came the long-awaited arrival of the third and final trailer. We’ve already seen the posters for Iron Man, Hulk, Black Widow, Thor, Nick Fury, Hawkeye, and Captain America. The timing of the release had many thinking that it would lead up to the final reveal of The Vision. But after the release of the final trailer, we had to settle for a mere tease. We probably won’t get to see him in action until the film is released, but there is still hope that he will appear in a character poster like his fellow heroes.

Each of the character posters that have been released are just that, character posters. At first it looked as though these posters were pieces of a larger set due to the shared background, but now we know that is not true. However, now that more character posters are being released, and the first two posters to be revealed since the trailer dropped are for Scarlet Witch and QuickSilver. Hit the jump to check out them both out as well as the ones that have already been released.

Kat Dennings Gets Expanded Role In ‘Thor: The Dark World’
  |  @   |

Thor: The Dark World wouldn’t be as much fun of a sequel without Kat Dennings, who starred in Thor as a political science student who gets misplaced with the wrong internship and caught up in the battle of the cosmos along with Natalie Portman and Stellen Skarsgard. Her quick wit and sarcasm provided some great humor for the movie and now she is officially signed on to appear in the sequel, which is expected to start shooting this fall.

As to the reason why it might have taken so long to get her signed on, well, it’s because of her commitment to the hit CBS comedy, Two Broke Girls. According to Deadline, all of that has been worked out. She even gets an expanded role in the sequel, which means she could do more than just mispronounce Mjolnir on multiple occasions. She certainly deserves to do more than just spew out a few witty one-liners. So we’ll see what she can do when the time comes.

Could Malekith The Accursed Be The Villain In ‘Thor: The Dark World’?
  |  @   |

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige promised us that the villain in Thor: The Dark World would be big. It wasn’t clear if he meant physically big or just big in terms of recognition, but the rumor that is going around tells us that it is the latter (and/or former depending on how you perceive the character), and that it would have fit into Mads Mikkelsen’s physique, had he stayed on to play the villain.

According to an interview with stuntman James Grogan, we could be seeing elves in Thor: The Dark World. And, though just speculation, that could mean we’ll be seeing Malekith the Accursed as the villain.
