  |  @   |

Each and every week, I, “Apprentice!” Henchman 21 and “Master!” Empress Eve read a lot of comics. Seriously you guys, a lot of comics. Maybe too many comics. I mean, it is possible”¦ theoretically. Naturally, we look forward to some more than others. I mean, who doesn’t? So, let’s take a look into the depths of our pull lists, grab some comics, and we’ll let YOU know what the top books to look forward to are for the week of January 14, 2015. Single issues and trades, they’re all here.

It’s another new week of comics, and while there are a lot of great comics out this week, there’s really only one book out this week, and it’s from Marvel, and it’s Star Wars. Eve will get to that, but there are plenty of other books out this week, like new issues of Lazarus, Avengers, The Fuse, Copperhead, and Batgirl. That’s kind of what we’re all about on The GoD List!

Stray Bullets: Killers #4
Written by David Lapham
Art by David Lapham
Cover by David Lapham
Image Comics
Release Date: June 25, 2014
Cover Price: $3.50

So far in this new series we’ve seen their burgeoning relationship grow more intense while their families and friends look on with concern. While that may sound like the synopsis of a cheesy young adult novel, keep in mind that so far we’ve seen Eli’s father get killed at the hands of Spanish Scott, Virginia’s uncle commit suicide, and then there’s the ever-present threat of Mr. Finger.

Spring is almost here, you can feel it in the air. Birds are singing, bees are trying to have sex with them, or so I’ve been led to believe. It’s that special time when a young man’s fancy turns thoughts of love…for comics. And there are some comics to love this week, with some new series, some kind of new series, and the return of a classic series. It’s enough to warm your heart and your soul, even as we get one last push of winter, at least in my neck of the woods. Initiate: The GoD List!
