The Wolf Among Us Telltale Games

One year ago next month came the news that Telltale Games, the developer and publisher of titles such as The Walking Dead, The Wolf Among Us, Back to the Future, Tales from the Borderlands, Game of Thrones, Minecraft: Story Mode, Batman: The Telltale Series, and Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series was being shut down. The Walking Dead: The Final Season

Last month came the announcement that Telltale Games was closing its doors, which meant the end for game series like The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us, which fans were finally getting a second season of after years of waiting patiently.

But the biggest immediate question everyone had was what did this mean for The Walking Dead: The Final Season. The Walking Dead Season 2

For anyone who missed the news it was announced a few days back that the majority of Telltale Games was closing down, with all but 25 employees let go.

This of course was a painful blow to fans of the developer, who was known for creating entertaining episodic point-and-click graphic adventures games. But the biggest immediate question was what does this mean for The Walking Dead, Telltale’s biggest game series which just kicked off its final season. With no one working there anymore, who was going to finish the three of four total episodes that hadn’t been released yet? The second episode was already completed and was released today, thankfully. And now comes word that discussions are happening with potential partners to get the final two episodes released, though nothing is official yet.
