Back in May of 2014 we saw a pretty impressive fan-made trailer for a live action Akira movie titled The Akira Project.

The trailer was made by Nguyen-Anh Nguyen, who’s back with a new cyberpunk short film titled Temple. The short is a concept that was made with the hope that it will one day become a feature film.
