Motion gaming was all set to be the next big thing a while back. But instead of getting the kinds of games we thought we were going to get, most of what we got was, well…crap, to put it bluntly, and it never took off like it was supposed to.
Now the NEXT big thing fast approaches: virtual reality! For years we’ve been seeing cool tech demos and videos of YouTube of people enjoying VR such as the Oculus Rift in various ways, but soon we’ll be seeing it go mainstream, with games developed solely for VR play. One such title is called The Climb, and it comes from developer Crytek, makers of the original Far Cry, the Crysis series, Ryse: Son of Rome, and Warface.
You can read more about the game and watch the first trailer below.

“Chaos isn’t a pit. Chaos is a ladder. Many who try to climb it fail and never get to try again. The fall breaks them. And some are given a chance to climb, they refuse, they cling to the realm or the gods or love or illusions. Only the ladder is real. The climb is all there is.”
Littlefinger’s (Aidan Gillen) speech is a very much on the nose, as “The Climb,” the sixth episode of season 3 of Game Of Thrones, sees various characters trying to progress forward in some capacity, but the core of his speech – that often those who are provided opportunities normally only get one chance at something – rings true for many characters tonight.
