Just because Avengers: Infinity War could be the end, doesn’t mean it will be the end. In the film, Thanos seeks to collect the all-powerful Infinity Stones to bring forth balance within the universe. The Mad Titan suffered a great tragedy when he couldn’t save his home planet of Titan, and now he believes that if he is to save the universe, he will have to destroy it.
So it’s unclear what kind of future the founding Avengers have beyond Infinity War. However, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige clearly has a plan. In anticipation for the film, Feige is talking about the future of the studio and the effect the Fox and Disney merger could have on their plans for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Doomed! The Untold Story of Roger Corman’s The Fantastic Four Official Website Directed by Marty Langford Starring Roger Corman, Oley Sassoon, and Chris Gore Distributor:Uncork’d Entertainment Not Rated | 85 minutes Release Date: October 11, 2016 (VOD) | December 20, 2016 (DVD)
In 1986, German film producer Bernd Eichinger (The Neverending Story) purchased the motion picture rights to Marvel Comics’ first family of bickering cosmic superheroes, the Fantastic Four. Eichinger envisioned making a classy, big-budget adventure with funding from a major studio and the latest in cutting edge visual effects, but no studio was interested. He had until New Year’s Eve 1992 to get the film into production or his rights would revert back to Marvel.
Oddly enough, director Josh Trank was supposed to make an appearance on the final day of Star Wars Celebration to talk about his secret spinoff film, but attendees were told he fell ill, and could not make it. Now we can’t be certain if this is true, but a trailer dropping on the same day he was scheduled to make an appearance is quite suspect. Whatever the reason, we are getting a brand new trailer for Fantastic Four, which gives us a little more backstory on our four heroes — Mr. Fantastic (Miles Teller), Invisible Woman (Kate Mara), Human Torch (Michael B. Jordan), and The Thing (Jamie Bell) — as well as the villain, Doctor Doom (Tobey Kebbell). Hit the jump to check it out.
After keeping production on The Fantastic Four, Fox’s reboot of the franchise, under wraps for months now, yesterday we finally got to see some behind-the-scenes photos and today the first trailer for the film.
Director Josh Trank (Chronicle) and screenwriter Simon Kinberg, who had described their new creation as a gritty, a more realistic take on the superhero team and its origin story, have filmed a video commentary for the nearly 2-minute trailer.
Fox has released the teaser trailer for their re-imagined The Fantastic Four.

The reboot stars Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Bell and is directed by Josh Trank. The story leading up to this has been a production that seeks to completely make over the fabled superheroes and go a little outside of the box when it comes to portraying the team on screen. This of course met the criticism of fans who cherish the long running comic series.
