Fans of Double Fine Productions’ Psychonauts have been waiting for a sequel for a long time now, and during The Game Awards 2015 an announcement trailer for the game was shared.
But there’s a bit of a catch. Double Fine has looked to (and found much success with) crowdfunding to make their games, and they are doing the same for Psychonauts 2. But this is a different kind of crowdfunding. Instead of going with the usual Kickstarter or Indiegogo, they’re going with a company called fig. This allows you not only to back the game for rewards, but if you want, you can actually INVEST in the game and make some money back depending on how well it does when released.
You can find out more and watch the announcement trailer below.
Back at E3 2015, Telltale Games announced a miniseries in their The Walking Dead series to hold fans over until season three eventually arrives. Unlike the previous releases in their episodic title, which focuses mostly on characters and stories not seen in the hit AMC TV series based on Robert Kirkman’s comic, this miniseries will center around the popular character Michonne.
During The Game Awards 2015, the first trailer for The Walking Dead: Michonne was revealed for all to see. You can read more about the game and check out the trailer below.
The 2015 Game Awards are going on right now, and there will of course be some new game announcements and trailers to enjoy.
A couple of months ago Ubisoft announced the next title in their Far Cry franchise, and it was not what fans were expecting to see. The game, titled Far Cry Primal, would take place far in the past, long before the times that previous games in the series were set.
During The Game Awards the first gameplay trailer for Primal was released, and you can check it out below.
