  |  @   |

It’s been a while now since it was announced that a movie based on the hit video game The Last of Us was on the way, and that Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams was attached to star.

One of the producers on the project is none other than Sam Raimi (Evil Dead, Spider-Man) through his production company Ghost House Pictures. ‘The Last Of Us’ Soundtrack Getting Impressive Vinyl Release
  |  @   |

It’s always nice when you get to write about The Last of Us again, even if it doesn’t involve whether or not developer Naughty Dog is going to be making The Last of Us 2 after Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End or not.

No this bit of news is related to one of the best aspects of the game, its phenomenal score composed by two-time Academy Award winner Gustavo Santaolalla. It’s been announced that the full soundtrack, including the soundtrack for the DLC release “Left Behind,” will be released by Mondo Music on vinyl in an impressive little four-album collection, complete with some lovely artwork by Olly Moss and Jay Shaw.

You can read more about the vinyl release, see images of the set and the full cover art, and also watch a video about the music of the game, which I love to watch and share any time I have an excuse to.

But sometimes something is so good it’s difficult to find anything to be critical of, and that’s certainly the case with The Last of Us. Still, the video is amusing, as is usually the case.

You can watch the Honest Game Trailer for The Last of Us below.

Joel and Ellie From ‘The Last Of Us’ In ‘Resident Evil 4’ (Video)
  |  @   |

Naughty Dog’s 2013 Game of the Year The Last of Us is something of a spin on the zombie sub-genre, with people being turned viciously aggressive by a mutated strain of the Cordyceps parasite. But how would the game’s two main characters, Joel and Ellie, do in another hit video game with zombie-like enemies, Resident Evil 4?

One modder decided to extract Joel and Ellie from the hell that is the world in The Last of Us and drop them right into the hell that is the world in Resident Evil 4 so we can see for ourselves.

Click on over to the other side to check out a video of the two games coming together.
