‘The Simpsons’ Groundskeeper Willie Talks Scottish Independence (Video)

On September 18, the people of Scotland will vote whether to secede from the United Kingdom, gain independence (yet again — remember Braveheart?), and become its own country. It’s up in the air right now how the Scots will vote, but celebrities across the UK have been offering up their opinions: Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling and former Doctor Who star David Tennant hope there will be a “No” on Scottish independence, while Highlander immortal Sir Sean Connery and action star Gerard Butler are hoping for a “Yes.”

Now, Scotsman Groundskeeper Willie from the long-running animated FOX series The Simpsons has spoken out on his views regarding the upcoming Scottish independence vote. Check out the video here below.

4-Minute Preview Of ‘The Simpsons’ & ‘Family Guy’ Crossover Episode

A lengthy preview video has been released for the upcoming crossover episode of The Simpsons and Family Guy that runs a little over four minutes long. The episode, titled “The Simpsons Guy,” will air on September 28th.

The preview shows the Griffin family arriving in Springfield plus some of the interactions between the characters of the two hit shows, mainly focusing on the most obvious duo, Homer Simpson and Peter Griffin, plus a little bit of Bart and Stewie.

‘Futurama’ To Live One More Day…On ‘The Simpsons’

While it’s not the full resurrection fans are hoping will one day happen again, and it’s not that 3D remake we saw recently, it has been announced that Futurama will indeed live again…for at least one day.

In something you’d think would have happened a long, long time ago, the characters of Futurama will appear in a crossover episode of The Simpsons this November 9th. Both series were created by Matt Groening, so it makes all the sense in the world to have the two animated worlds meet up; it just took a while.

Full Trailer For ‘The Simpsons’ LEGO Episode “Brick Like Me”

We’ve seen images already, and now a trailer has been released for the upcoming LEGO-themed episode of The Simpsons, titled “Brick Like Me,” which will air this upcoming Sunday night, May the 4th, at 8 p.m. EST.

Unlike most single TV episode previews, this is a longer, movie trailer-like preview running almost two minutes, so you’ll get a nice look at what to expect from the LEGO episode.
