‘The Woman In Black’ Launches Viral Site To Scare Your Pants Off

In the spirit of Halloween, the team behind the upcoming The Woman In Black released a viral site today to promote the film and terrify you at the very same time.

The movie is about a young lawyer (Daniel Radcliffe) who travels to small town and in doing this, he finds the ghost of a woman who is terrorizing the villagers. And while that might be the case, the point of the viral site seems to be just to make you freak out. It’s a pretty cool one if you’re not experiencing any bugs with the site (I was). From the site you get a photo of your reaction to a scare that happens, and you can share it from the site with Twitter and Facebook, and you can also have a look at the trailer for the movie.

At last night’s Scream Awards, Spike TV premiered a creepy and atmospheric (but brief) new trailer for the upcoming supernatural thriller The Woman in Black right after star Daniel Radcliffe accepted the award for Ultimate SCREAM on behalf of the Harry Potter film series (watch video of that here). New Trailer For Daniel Radcliffe’s ‘The Woman In Black’ Hits

Oh, how wonderful it is to see that Hammer Films logo on a trailer every now and then.

Thanks to the newly released trailer for the upcoming Daniel Radcliffe film, The Woman In Black we get to see what the company has to offer with regards to their next project.

Telling the story of a man who attempts to sell the house of a client who recently passed away, the film is a much discussed horror picture with a top tier cast and a beloved book to call its source material. The original book was also turned into a play and a TV movie, so it is definitely a bit of source material that has had its day in the sunshine.

Trailer For ‘The Woman In Black’ Will Give You Chills

There is no better way to shed a Harry Potter-style character than by jumping into the world of creepy, bone-chilling horror films. And that is exactly what Daniel Radcliffe has done in his latest film, The Woman In Black.

Yahoo! has released a new trailer for the film, which comes to us thanks to director James Watkins, and follows the story a young man, a lawyer, who comes to a town on the east coast of England to finalize the estate for a recently passed elderly woman. Spooky happenings follow, and it appears as though the atmosphere fits the narrative like a glove.

New Image Of Daniel Radcliffe In ‘The Woman in Black’

A new still of a very frightened (and stubbly) Daniel Radcliffe from his first major post-Harry Potter role in the upcoming film The Woman in Black has just been released. You can view a full, larger version of the image by clicking the thumbnail at the end of this article.

The film is based on the novel by Susan Hill, which had previously been adapted for the international stage, and is directed by James Watkins (Eden Lake) from a screenplay by Jane Goldman (X-Men: First Class). The story follows young lawyer Arthur Kipps (Radcliffe) who travels to a remote village to help put a recently deceased client’s affairs in order and discovers that the locals are being terrorized by the ghost of a scorned woman.
