The third entry in the rebooted Star Trek movie franchise is set to be released next week, titled Star Trek Beyond, and to go along with the occasion CineFix has dedicated this week’s installment of their “Things You (Probably) Didn’t Know“ YouTube series to the first two releases directed by J.J. Abrams, Star Trek and sequel Into Darkness.
Some of the fun facts listed that you might not have known about include a deleted scene involving the Klingons, filming in a brewery, and some low-budget approaches to making the big blockbuster movies.
To go along with the release of the second installment in the Michael Bay-produced reboot of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise, titled Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, this Friday, CineFix has released a fitting episode of their “Things You (Probably) Didn’t Know“ YouTube series.
As always, the video offers various fun facts about the franchise you might not have known before. They also did the same thing for the first reboot movie a couple of years back, so as an added bonus there’s a second video with another seven things you might not have known to bring the grand total to 14 fun facts. It’s hard to believe, and quite depressing to think about, but Jim Henson‘s cult classic fairy tale Labyrinth celebrates its 30th anniversary this year.
