This week, Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) and the gang are trying to stop Vandal Savage but more importantly are running from the “Hunters”, a group of “boogeymen” sent by the Time Masters. They hide out in 1871 in the wild west town of Salvation, which has Ray (Brandon Routh) super duper excited. I love the Morricone-esque music as they ramble on into town.

Arrow
Season 4 Episode 8: “Legends of Yesterday”
Directed by Thor Freudenthal
Written by Brian Ford Sullivan & Marc Guggenheim
Created by Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg
Starring Stephen Amell, Katie Cassidy, David Ramsey, Willa Holland, Emily Bett Rickards, John Barrowman, Paul Blackthorne, Caity Lotz
The CW
Air Date: Wednesday, December 2nd, 2015, 8:00pm

The second part of the 2-night crossover event aired tonight in the Arrowverse. Arrow, two weeks ago, had Diggle (David Ramsey) and his H.I.V.E, not-dead-just-brainwashed brother fighting, as his brother was part of Damian Darhk’s crew. Thea (Willa Holland) was able to cure her bloodlust temporarily (and accidentally) via Darhk (Neal McDonough). Last night on The Flash, Vandal Savage (Casper Crump) was introduced as the biggest bad of them all – a 4,000-year old immortal with a perpetual murderous focus on Hawkman and Hawkgirl (Falk Hentschel and Ciara Renee). Hawkgirl aka Kendra has to jump off a building to open herself up to her powers. Cisco (Carlos Valdes) is kinda pissed Hawkman is moving in on his girl. Dr. Wells and Caitlyn (Tom Cavanagh and Danielle Panabaker) develop a speed drug, which Jay Garrick (Teddy Sears) has to take to save Dr. Wells life. Oliver (Stephen Amell) realizes he may have a kid. I have been waiting for this since season 2!

Do not proceed any further if you haven’t watched the “Legends of Yesterday” episode yet. Serious spoilers!

Supergirl
Episode 1.5 “How Does She Do It?”
Directed by Thor Freudenthal
Written by Yahlin Chang, Ted Sullivan
Created by Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg, Ali Adler
Starring Melissa Benoist, Calista Flockhart, Chyler Leigh, Mehcad Brooks, David Harewood, Jeremy Jordan, Helen Slater, Dean Cain, Peter Facinelli, Chris Vance
CBS
Air date: Monday, November 23rd, 2015, 8:00pm ET

Last week’s Supergirl was switched with this week’s, in light of the Paris attacks, which was considerate. However, it gave us a few spoilers, but not any horribly crucial ones. The main one is that James Olsen and Lucy Lane (Mechad Brooks and Jenna Dewan-Tatum) were already back together in this episode, to the disappointment of Kara (Melissa Benoist) and James. So “Livewire” focused on one of Cat’s (Calista Flockhart) disgruntled employess, who got demoted to weather duty, and then struck by lightning via a Supergirl conduit. It was also the Thanksgiving episode which found foster mom Helen Slater (I don’t know why emphasizing foster mom bothered me), Alex (Chyler Leigh), Kara, and Winn (Jeremy Jordan) at a tense family dinner. It ends up okay though, with the exception of the reveal that Hank Henshaw (David Harewood) was involved in Alex’s dad’s disappearance.

Spoilers below.

Arrow
Season 4 Episode 1: “Green Arrow”
Directed by Thor Freudenthal
Written by Marc Guggenheim, Wendy Mericle, Greg Berlanti, Beth Schwartz
Created by Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg
Starring Stephen Amell, Katie Cassidy, David Ramsey, Willa Holland, Emily Bett Rickards, John Barrowman, Paul Blackthorne
The CW
Air Date: Wednesday, October 7th, 2015, 8:00pm

Superhero season is officially back! Yesterday kicked off with The Flash, and tonight it’s time for its darker cousin, Arrow.

When we last saw Oliver Queen aka Arrow (Stephen Amell), he was happily driving down a sunny road, away from the chaos and towards his new happy life with Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards). Matt Nable‘s Ra’s al Ghul was defeated, and Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman) took his place. Thea (Willa Holland) embraced her inner superhero in her red leather outfit, after her boyfriend Roy Harper (Colton Haynes) left town. It looks like Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) exploded (but we know better), and Diggle (David Ramsey) and Laurel (Katie Cassidy) are still in town fighting crime, most likely against her anti-vigilante father Lance’s wishes (Paul Blackthorne).

We all caught up? Don’t read on unless you’ve watched the episode, for spoilers lie ahead.

Starring Stephen Amell, Katie Cassidy, David Ramsey, Willa Holland, Emily Bett Rickards, John Barrowman, Brandon Routh, Paul Blackthorne

Air Date: Wednesday, April 29th, 2015, 8:00pm

The review of Arrow 3.21 “Al Sah-Him” is coming right up. But first, a little (or a lot) recap of last week. Spoilers!

Thea (Willa Holland) is pretty much dead. Oliver (Stephen Amell) is beaten. He brings her to Nanda Parbat, to accept Ra’s al Ghul’s (Matt Nable) offer, in exchange for resurrecting her in the Lazarus Pit. Felicity, Diggle, and Malcolm (Emily Bett Rickards, David Ramsey, and John Barrowman) go with him. Thea leaps out acting crazy – loving towards Malcolm, not recognizing Ollie, thinking her mom is alive. Felicity and Oliver finally do it! But then they have to leave him there. Felicity tries one last ditch effort to get him out of there, but it is an epic fail.
