A new trailer has been released for Volition’s sequel to Saints Row: The Third, which will be simply titled Saints Row IV.
The trailer shows the Saints leader—who’s now president—and the alien invasion he has to now deal with as the man in charge. It’s absolutely insane and absurd…just as you’d expect a Saints Row game to look. Anything more tame would only be a let down.
The game is now being published by Deep Silver after THQ filed for bankruptcy, but is still on course for an August 20, 2013 release and can be pre-ordered on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC now. You can check out the new trailer for Saints Row IV below now.
This week, Kim DotCom is back with Mega, FCC wants gigabit broadband nationwide, Steve Jobs hated poaching, a sneak peek at the new Blackberry OS, Firefox phones, game deveolper THQ calls it quits, and more.
Do you Like that warm fuzzy feeling you get when you know you are helping a good cause? Are you a gamer? Well, if you’re a Steam user, let me direct your attention to the Humble Bundle from THQ.
For the small price of PAY WHAT YOU WANT, you can get your hands on six (or seven) top notch games from THQ. You can also choose to send some or ALL of the money you pay for this Humble Bundle to charity. The standard Humble Bundle consists of Darksiders, Metro 2033, Red Faction: Armageddon, and three Company of Heroes games (the original CoH, Opposing Fronts, and Tales of Valor). Does none of this tickle your giving spirit? Well, if you should decide to donate more than the ‘average’ amount (which is currently sitting at around six dollars), you will also get a copy of Saints Row: The Third.
A new horror video game from the mind of the great Guillermo del Toro and inspired in some aspects by the works of H.P. Lovecraft is a video game that’s going to excite people. As it turned out, however, THQ was not among those people.
Unlike his massive R-rated H.P. Lovecraft project, At the Mountains of Madness, which still seeks a new home as he finishes work on his upcoming blockbuster, Pacific Rim, it appears that the video game, titled inSane, may already have a new home.

DEVELOPER: Vigil Games
RELEASE DATE: August 14, 2012
I have the great pleasure of offering a unique perspective on a video game for a select group of potential players. Usually when I review a game it’s one that I’m familiar with and one that I’ve been anticipating for multiple years. In the case of Darksiders II, I went in almost completely blind.
I never played the original Darksiders. I did play its demo when it was made available and was thoroughly neutral; I didn’t hate it or anything, but had no intentions of playing the full game, either. Because of this, I had absolutely no knowledge whatsoever of Darksiders II, allowing me a chance to offer an opinion to those who never played the first but are thinking about checking out the sequel.
