At the beginning of the year, we found out that Hulu was developing a monthly horror anthology series. Then in May we learned that the show would be titled Into the Dark, and that each episode would be holiday themed beginning with Halloween in October.
Now Hulu has released the first trailer for the show. It’s only a teaser, and an extremely short one at that, but still gives us our first look at Into the Dark. You can check it out below.
Back in January we found out that Hulu was developing a different kind of horror anthology series, with new episodes being released monthly instead of weekly to ensure a year of content to look forward to for those who become fans. At the time it didn’t even have a title, but now we know it will be called Into the Dark.
In addition to the title, lots more information on the series was also shared by Hulu recently. This includes info on some cast members, titles and descriptions of the first couple of episode, release dates, and more.
A second trailer has been released for Murder on the Orient Express, the latest adaptation of the 1934 Agatha Christie novel of the same name directed by and starring Kenneth Branagh as renowned fictional detective Hercule Poirot.
ITV Studios has announced the cast for Jekyll & Hyde, their upcoming 10-part action-adventure drama based on Robert Louis Stevenson’s famous tale, The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
Tom Bateman (Da Vinci’s Demons, The Tunnel) stars in the lead role of Robert Jekyll, grandson to the classic literary doctor with the dual personality. Richard E. Grant (Downton Abbey, Doctor Who) plays Sir Roger Bulstrode, the head of the secret government department M10 known as “The Invisible Men,” while Natalie Gumede (Coronation Street, Death In Paradise) is Bella, who is part of a love triangle with Robert.
The series was conceived by author Charlie Higson, who will also write and executive produce, and will be directed Colin Teague.
