Watch: Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop The Feeling” Video For DreamWorks’ ‘Trolls’
  |  @   |

Most filmmakers don’t just stick to one art medium. Sometimes they extend their body of work by helming other media like TV episodes or miniseries, but on some occasions, they will direct music videos. Now, we don’t cover music videos much, if at all. But when famous directors like Mark Romanek collaborate with someone like Justin Timberlake, it tends to get some attention. The two have come out with a music video for “Can’t Stop The Feeling,” from the upcoming DreamWorks Animation film Trolls. Timberlake is making his debut as a soundtrack producer for the film.

Throw up the metal horns and pay attention to your online streaming screen, people, because this week’s Netflix review comes from Norway, the home of Vikings, pioneering Black Metal, and… TROLLS! The much discussed and highly reviewed film Trollhunter takes you into the domain of modernized fantasy, bringing the creatures from fairy tales and folklore into a modern setting, and providing them with a film platform in the manner that vampires and zombies have had for years. Presented in “found-footage” format, Trollhunter shadows a group of film students creating a documentary examining mysterious bear deaths across the country. Their investigations lead them to a man known only as Hans, who turns out to be a long-time experienced trollhunter employed by a government who wants to keep the existence of trolls a secret.

The little trolls, best known for their massive, frizzy, colorful hairdos and their horrifying and inexplicably naked appearance, are owned by Dam Things of Denmark, who is teaming with the studio to make the movie happen. The company was formed when Thomas Dam carved a doll based on Scandinavian Trolls for his daughter in 1959, and they caught on in popularity.
