A pair of videos have been released showing off pumpkins being carved into two of the most evil DC Comics super villains, The Joker and Harvey Dent/Two-Face, in celebration of Halloween.

The videos are quick, presented mostly in time-lapse, showing you the full transformation from regular old pumpkin to astonishingly detailed work of art.

All right, so you guys know I like Batman, right? That’s not really a secret that I’m trying to hide. Another thing that I don’t really like to hide is cool art related to the character. And Austin, TX-based artist Xero has come to the task of putting together a pretty rad group of art prints of some of the best of Batman’s rogues gallery.

In a collection that the artist calls “Gotham’s Most Wanted,” Xero takes his/her own style on various villains on the caped vigilante. In this set we see Xero’s unique perspective on the heavy hitters such as Catwoman, Scarecrow, Two-Face, Killer Croc, Poison Ivy and, of course, The Joker.

Publishers have been trying for a while now to find a way to survive the onslaught of free information available on the web. Many magazines and newspapers have folded, for good, and others have been able to survive as websites, and still others continue to straddle the line both in print and on the internet.

Some publishers see the new tablet craze as a potential way to survive, or better yet to reinvent themselves. Up to now the most popular attempt has come from a company called Zinio. Zinio offers up digital versions of many of the most popular magazines that were once exclusives to magazine racks. The price is lower than their print counterparts and the digital experience offers a slick and cool way to read magazines as well as the ability to carry many magazines on the go all inside a tablet. Media magnate Rupert Mrudoch has jumped into the this new frontier in a big way with his new daily digital newspaper called aptly enough, The Daily.

First of all, for the three of you out there who haven’t seen The Dark Knight, spoilers ahead.

The Dark Knight, having just passed the $500 million mark, still has that new car smell to it, but already arguments echo out from all over the globe — did Harvey Dent/Two-Face die in The Dark Knight or not?

Most moviegoers are under the impression that the Gotham City District Attorney turned badly burned bad guy is not only still alive, but will also likely return for the third film installment in the Christopher Nolan Batman franchise.

But TDK star Aaron Eckhart recently revealed that his character is definitely dead and not coming back.

So there it is. You can’t get more clear than that… or can you?

Personally, I would like to remain incredibly stubborn and say he’s not dead at all. I literally don’t even care that the DIRECTOR confirms that he’s dead; if you ask me, it’s ridiculous to think so.
