As The Sopranos celebrates its 20th anniversary, the cast of New Line’s prequel movie titled The Many Saints of Newark is coming together.
Last week we found out that Jon Bernthal and Vera Farmiga were joining Alessandro Nivola on the cast. Now an actor has been chosen for a major role—the role of a young Tony Soprano, who was played on the original HBO series by the late James Gandolfini. It’s being reported that Michael Gandolfini, James Gandolfini’s son, has been chosen to play the character.
Many Saints Of Newark is the Sopranos prequel movie that many fans of the HBO mob drama have been waiting for. And now it looks like the project just got a lot more exciting with the additions of The Punisher‘s Jon Bernthal and Bates Motel‘s Vera Farmiga. More on the story here below.
If there is going to be a Godzilla sequel called Godzilla: King Of The Monsters, there’d very well better be a fight that reflects that subtitle. And Michael Dougherty‘s film looks like it will live up to that title. Warner Bros. has just dropped the newest trailer for the highly anticipated sequel that sees the title Kaiju engaging in an all-out battle with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. All the while, humans pin their hopes of survival on Godzilla as they do all they can to bring the three giants down. Check out the trailer here below.
The Conjuring has come a long way since its debut back in 2013. Not only have there been sequels, but there have also been spin-offs. In fact, there is an entire universe based on The Conjuring.
And that is all thanks in part to James Wan. Wan, who directed the first two Conjuring films, seemed like he would be closing out the trilogy. However, that’s not the case anymore. Wan will be stepping away from The Conjuring 3, and letting Michael Chaves take over directorial duties. But Wan won’t be too far away as he will still be a producer on the film. More on the story below.
“Long live the king.” Ever since Godzilla: King of the Monsters was confirmed, many wondered who the king of the monsters would be facing next. It turns out, it’s not just a one-on-one fight, but a battle royale. That’s because Godzilla is facing off against some of his greatest kaiju adversaries: Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. The film has been in production for a while, with Warner Bros. scheduling the long-awaited sequel for a May 2019 release.
Now the wait for that first look is over. While at San Diego Comic-Con, the cast and crew were there to talk about the film, and also present a new trailer. And boy, does it set the tone. Check out the first trailer for Godzilla: King of the Monsters below.
