Drinking Buddies Director: Joe Swanberg Screenwriter: Joe Swanberg Cast: Olivia Wilde, Jake Johnson, Anna Kendrick, Ron Livingston, Jason Sudeikis, Ti West
Directed by Joe Swanberg (Hannah Takes the Stairs), Drinking Buddies follows the complicated friendship of Kate (Olivia Wilde) and Luke (Jake Johnson), who work together at a craft brewery. As friends, they’re way too close – it’s obvious there’s something more there, but Kate is dating Chris (Ron Livingston) and Luke is with all-around good girl Jill (Anna Kendrick).
The two couples go on a weekend getaway together and things get even more problematic when Jill and Chris go on a hike and find themselves romantically entangled. Meanwhile, Kate and Luke flirt while playing cards and get cozy on the beach. Without giving away the intricacies of the narrative, the four characters struggle to balance their romantic relationships and platonic friendships with the opposite sex – some with success, others with disastrous results.
A sequel to the recent horror anthology V/H/S is already moving forward, and new directors are being lined up to collaborate on the project.
Most notably, Eduardo Sanchez, one of the directors of the first found footage horror flick, The Blair Witch Project, and Gareth Evans, who helmed the recent Indonesian action hit The Raid: Redemption, will be among the directors writing and directing segments that will make up V/H/S/ 2.

A new red band trailer has been released for V/H/S, a new horror anthology of the found footage variety.
The movie follows a group of thieves who are hired to steal a VHS tape, but when they arrive they find a body and a pile of tapes to sift through in order to find the one they need. And, as is almost always the case when looking for one thing among many, they end up watching multiple tapes along the way…each revealing something more horrifying than the last.
You can check out the red band trailer for V/H/S below. As always, a NSFW warning is in effect!
