Unlock Michael Fassbender’s Emotions In The New Viral Video For ‘Prometheus’
  |  @   |

Oh how excited I would be if Fox generously put a David-8 android on my doorstep. Earlier today we posted an article about the latest product from Weyland Industries, which is actually one of the key elements in the Prometheus viral marketing campaign. The video detailed all the aspects of what the David-8 was programmed and designed for, and now a new video has surfaced detailing the emotions of the android (to be played by Michael Fassbender).

Hit the jump if you want to know more details about the fascination robot.

As stated in the earlier video, Weyland Industries’ David-8 lack the ability to express any human emotion and are programmed to perform the tasks that humans deem questionable and unethical. But a new video has the ability to unlock those emotions that were otherwise considered unlockable. In the gallery here below are four of my favorite emotions.

‘The Dark Knight Rises’ Prologue Before ‘Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol’ IMAX Screenings?
  |

Back in December 2007 Warner Bros. sent out the opening bank robbery sequence from the then-forthcoming The Dark Knight attached to IMAX screenings of I Am Legend. It was a risky move on the studio’s part and it didn’t take long for the footage to leak online, but it paid off splendidly the next year and was one of the highlights of Warner’s aggressive marketing campaign for the movie, particularly as it provided an early showcase for the production’s beautiful IMAX cinematography (several scenes from the movie were shot in the format). Therefore, it would make sense for the studio to go with what has proven successful in the past in regards to the marketing for next summer’s The Dark Knight Rises.

Real Or Fake: ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ Viral Videos Hint At Arkham Asylum Breakout
  |  @   |

A few new short videos have hit the web, and they have people trying to figure out whether they’re part of Warner Brothers’ viral marketing campaign for director Christopher Nolan‘s massive trilogy-maker, The Dark Knight Rises, or if they’re just a crafty fan helping to add some buzz to the movie.

All three videos were posted on YouTube by a user called The Fire Rises, which is the same name on Twitter that revealed the first image we saw of Tom Hardy as Bane not too long ago. Each video is very chaotic and hard to follow, but they do suggest that there has been a massive breakout at the infamous Arkham Asylum, and that anarchy now reigns. All three videos also use that haunting chant we heard on the official Dark Knight Rises website…which, interestingly enough, doesn’t seem to be there anymore.

You can see all three videos for yourself by clicking on over to the other side now, and let us know whether you think they’re real (and effective), or completely fake.
