Hulu already has one series based on the work of Stephen King and produced by J.J. Abrams, 11.22.63. Now another one is on the way.
The streaming service has ordered 10 episodes of a new series titled Castle Rock from King and Abrams, through Abrams’ Bad Robot Productions and Warner Bros. Television. The title is the same name as the fictional town in Maine many of King’s stories are set in, part of his shared overall multiverse. The series will be set in that same multiverse. The new project from King and Abrams was first announced a few days back, followed by today’s confirmation of the number of episodes ordered.
