Official Trailer Released For ‘Dolemite Is My Name’ Starring Eddie Murphy

An official trailer has been released for Dolemite Is My Name, an upcoming biographical dramedy starring Eddie Murphy as 1970s blaxploitation legend Rudy Ray Moore.

The movie is the latest from Hustle & Flow and Black Snake Moan director Craig Brewer, and Murphy is joined by an excellent supporting cast including Keegan-Michael Key, Mike Epps, Craig Robinson, Tituss Burgess, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, and Wesley Snipes.

Original Blade Actor Wesley Snipes Welcomes Mahershala Ali To The ” Daywalker Klique”

This is one of those moments in filmmaking where we have to accept the way things are and just move on. Characters being recast in reboots is one of those things that just happens. But when news broke that two-time Oscar winner Mahershala Ali will be playing the title role in a new Blade movie, the reaction was mixed.

While some have praised the casting, others aren’t so fond of it and consider Wesley Snipes to be their Blade. Now Snipes has made a statement, and has called upon those Blade fans to “chillaaxx.” More on the report below.

‘The Expendables 3’ Leaks Early; Downloaded Almost 200,000 Times

The theatrical release of Lionsgate’s testosterone-heavy summer action epic The Expendables 3 isn’t scheduled for another three weeks, but that hasn’t prevented the finished film from being leaked online to various torrent sites.

According to Variety the leaked copy of the Patrick Hughes-directed sequel currently in circulation was taken from a DVD screener and downloaded almost 200,000 times around the world in a 24-hour period. That number is expected to increase as the official release of the film approaches.

‘The Expendables 3’ Officially Gets A PG-13 Rating

It’s become sort of a tradition with Sylvester Stallone‘s epic action series The Expendables—each movie is rumored to possibly be getting a PG-13 rating, then ultimately ends up with an R when it’s all said and done. The Expendables 2 famously had Chuck Norris state that the movie would be PG-13 (because young fans shouldn’t have to hear naughty language while watching bad guys get mowed down by big f’n guns), which was confirmed by Stallone, only later to be changed to an R.

As The Expendables 3 has approached, rumors of a PG-13 rating have of course made the rounds. But now comes word that the rating is no longer a rumor, but a sad fact. According to reports, the MPAA has given the teen-friendly flick the rating due to violence, including intense sustained gun battles and fight scenes, and language.

A Definitive Guide To Obscure Action Movie Villains

If I’ve learned one thing from Batman, it’s that a hero is truly defined by his villains (in truth I’ve learned many things from Batman). For every great hero, there has to be a healthy stable of villains who can, and will, strike at any moment and be a constant pour of salt onto an open wound. This sentiment rings true in most creative mediums, but comic books aside, action movies are the standout.
