With the release of X-Men: Days of Future Past this week, the next victim of Screen Junkies’ Honest Trailers series is none other than The X-Men Trilogy, which began with X-Men and X2: X-Men United from director Bryan Singer, and concluded with X-Men: The Last Stand by director Brett Ratner.
It will come as no surprise to you whatsoever that Ratner’s entry in the franchise gets plenty of screen time in the four-and-a-half-minute video, which you can watch below.

The first trailer for director Matthew Vaughn‘s comic book adaptation, X-Men: First Class was released online today, and it’s ready and waiting for you to take a peek and share your thoughts below. It’s unclear how good the movie will be, but this should make up for any images that might not have been received too highly.
The movie is set in the ’60s and is produced by Bryan Singer, who directed X-Men and X2: X-Men United before handing off the reigns to Brett Ratner for X-Men: The Last Stand. It’s adapted from the comic book series of the same name and stars (Michael Fassbender) as Magneto, (James McAvoy) as Professor Xavier, Rose Byrne as Moira MacTaggert, January Jones as Emma Frost , Kevin Bacon as Sebastian Shaw, Jason Flemyng as Azazel , Nicholas Hoult as Beast, Lucas Till as Havoc, Zoe Kravitz as Angel Salvadore , and Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique.
