The GoD List: Comics For August 28, 2013
  |  @   |

Each and every week, I, “The Famous Cock” Henchman21, and “The Mermaid” Empress Eve read a lot of comics. Seriously you guys, a lot of comics. Maybe too many comics. I mean, it is possible”¦ theoretically. Naturally, we look forward to some more than others. I mean, who doesn’t? So, let’s take a look into the depths of our pull lists, grab some comics, and we’ll let YOU know what the top books to look forward to are for the week of August 28, 2013. So, no time to sleep around, it’s time to wake up to The GoD List!

The series launches in July and will run bi-monthly.

In a video of Heinberg explaining the series, he said that he is currently writing the script for issue six (with plans to have the whole series written by the time the first issue comes out), so even though it will take a year and a half for the series to be completed, it should be on time.

The story will focus on the Young Avengers characters that were created by Heinberg and Cheung, but will also feature the rest of the Avengers. The plot is said to be about Young Avengers member Wiccan as he tries to track down the Scarlet Witch, who may or may not be his mother.
