NYCC 2014: ‘Mike Tyson Mysteries’ Extended Clip At The WB Premiere Panel!
  |  @   |

Unbeknownst to WB fans at New York Comic-Con this weekend, at the premiere panel (the last panel on Thursday night), they got treated to an extended clip of the new Mike Tyson Mysteries premiering on Adult Swim on 10/27 at 10:30pm ET.

As with most Adult Swim programming, it plays with dark comedic ridiculousness. Mike Tyson, along with a potty-mouthed pigeon (Norm MacDonald), his adopted Korean daughter Yung Hee (who looks like a Korean Velma played by Rachel Ramras), and a British ghost (Jim Rash), solves any mystery thrown his way. This cartoon looks like loads of fun.

From the Turner September 10th press release:

New Animated Series Premieres On October 27th

Adult Swim announced today that their new animated adult comedy series, Mike Tyson Mysteries, will premiere on Monday, October 27th at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT. The original series from Warner Bros. Animation stars Mike Tyson himself and as the network builds on its big summer ratings, the show is poised to knock out the Monday night competition.

In Mike Tyson Mysteries, Mike Tyson is taking the fight from the boxing ring to the streets “¦ by solving mysteries! Aided by the Mike Tyson Mystery Team “” the Ghost of the Marquess of Queensberry, Mike’s adopted Korean daughter Yung Hee, and a pigeon who was once a man “” Mike Tyson will answer any plea sent to him. If you have a problem that needs solving, Iron Mike is in your corner. The gloves come off in this quarter-hour series as the former heavyweight champ and his team gears up for weekly adventures as they put unsolved mysteries down for the count.

Mike Tyson Mysteries stars Mike Tyson, Norm Macdonald (Saturday Night Live), Rachel Ramras (MAD) and Oscar® winner Jim Rash (The Way Way Back, Community), and is produced by Warner Bros. Animation. Sam Register (Teen Titans Go!, MAD, The Looney Tunes Show) serves as executive producer with Hugh Davidson (MAD, The Looney Tunes Show, Robot Chicken) as producer.

Watch the intro video for the show over at Adult Swim. Also, if you’re going to NYCC today, there will be a Mike Tyson Mysteries at 6:45pm.

  1. I kind doubt Donald Sterling will have cartoons made with him in the future after he told his Kardashian wanna paid whore not to keep bringing black guys to his stadium(his personal suits beside owning the whole thing) and then posting pictures on the internet.

Hell he even said “Bang em if you want” but don’t be doing it on his dime.

Why do I bring this up. Well don’t you think Rape, Ear Eating etc etc are worse then what I just Described???

In fact having everyone of you done worse!!!

So why would Tyson be forgiven for worse and Sterling be a Leper.

Now I think Tyson has finally grown up(what his mind would allow anyways) and he can be funny. And I don’t mind him getting this 6th,17th chance.

    But why the double standard?

Oh because if someone can entertain you then all is forgiven(at least comparatively???)

    Kinda backwards don’t ya think…
