Netflix has released a trailer for 3%, an upcoming sci-fi thriller based on the 2011 web series of the same name by Pedro Aguilera.
The story is set in a future world where most live in a devastated area, but a select few get to live in a much better location. Similar to something along the lines of Elysium starring Matt Damon. Here, a group of candidates gets the opportunity to move to this better place but only three percent of them will succeed.

3% will begin with an eight episode first season. It is the first Brazilian original series to be produced for Netflix.
The show stars Bianca Comparato, Mel Fronckowiak, Michael Gomes, Rafael Lozano, João Miguel, Vaneza Oliveira, Viviane Porto, and Rodolfo Valente.
A world divided into progress and devastation. The link between the two sides – Offshore and Inland – is a rigorous and painstaking system called The Process. Everyone in Inland has a chance to go through The Process to live a better life in Offshore. But only 3% make it through.
3% is the first Brazilian original series of Netflix. The Process begins on November 25.
