Rumored ‘Avatar’ Sequel Titles; Get Ready For A Collective Groan and Eye Roll
  |  @   |

Yes, the Avatar sequels (yes, more than one) have been in development since we could remember. Of course, numerous delays have put these sequels on hold for a very long time. But it looks like director James Cameron is ready to go. Production for these films begun last year, and with everything being kept a secret, we don’t know much about these films. But maybe a few titles will help.

There’s a new rumor that says the four titles of the Avatar sequels have been revealed. So if you want to be kept in the dark, I suggest you refrain from clicking below. But if you are eager to know, then, by all means, continue reading. Just get ready for some really cheesy subtitles.

BBC News says they were able to uncover documentation for plans for the Avatar franchise. This also includes the titles for the sequels. And here they are. Mind you, these haven’t been confirmed, so take them with a grain of salt.

  • Avatar: The Way of Water
  • Avatar: The Seed Bearer
  • Avatar: The Tulkun Rider
  • Avatar: The Quest for Eywa
  • Just wow. I kind of hope these titles are just code for the actual sequel titles. I mean it’s happened before, so why not for these films. But on the off chance they are the final titles, well then, I suspect we will do one giant collective eye-roll with a complementary groan.

The Way Of The Water and The Seed Bearer seems to make sense, but The Tulkun Rider and The Quest For Eywa sound ridiculous. Eywa, according to the Avatar wikipage is the “Eywa is the guiding force and deity of Pandora and the Na’vi. The Na’vi believe that Eywa acts to keep the ecosystem of Pandora in perfect equilibrium.” I guess that makes sense. I haven’t seen Avatar in ages, so I don’t remember any of that. Secondly, what the f*** is a Tulkun. I just hope they explain who or what that is before the film is released.

The next Avatar films will be hitting theaters on December 18, 2020, December 17, 2021, December 20, 2024, and December 19, 2025.
