During last week’s Bethesda E3 Showcase, Arkane Studios, the people behind the Dishonored series, teased a new title that none of us were expecting: Prey, a first person sci-fi shooter.
This is not a reboot of the 2006 similarly titled game by Human Head Studios, nor is it related to the Prey 2 sequel that was unfortunately canned. This version of Prey is considered a re-imagining of the original title, and the provided trailer sets a futuristic stage where something inevitably has gone horribly wrong.

During last week’s E3 2016 press conference Bethesda provided more detail on their new title, The Elder Scrolls: Legends; a strategy card game where players can further explore the characters, creatures, and lore of the Elder Scrolls series.
Another upcoming title that a trailer was released for during E3 2016, we have for you a trailer for a video game that’s based on a pen and paper role-playing game that’s based on the Cthulhu mythology crafted by H.P. Lovecraft and others.
The game is titled Call of Cthulhu, and it is an investigative RPG in which you play as a private investigator looking into the mysterious death of an artist. You can read more about the game and check out the trailer below.
Another popular video game franchise getting the virtual reality treatment. During the VR section of Sony’s E3 2016 briefing, a trailer began playing and a menacingly familiar voice rang out.
The trailer was for Batman: Arkham VR, a new game in the series that has included Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City, and Batman: Arkham Knight. The voice was none other than the Joker himself.
It’s not much, but it’s still a fun trailer for Batman fans. You can check it out below.
E3 2016 has come and gone, but we still have a few last goodies that came out of the convention to check out for the weekend.
First up was a bit of a curve ball at the end of Ubisoft’s presentation. Instead of their usual games such as For Honor, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands, and Watch Dogs 2, they introduced a new kind of open world game titled Steep, which exchanges the fighting and shooting and hacking for the world of action sports.
A trailer and gameplay demo for the game have been released, and you can head below now to see how it looks.
