‘Mission: Impossible 4’ Adds ‘LOST’ Bad Boy Josh Holloway To Cast
  |  @   |

Alumni of the adventure that was LOST have had no trouble getting back to work after the beloved series ended this past May.

Daniel Dae Kim took the easiest route by simply staying in Hawaii and joining the cast of CBS’s Hawaii Five-O, but a couple of others have now joined film projects. We found out yesterday that Maggie Grace would be jumping into The Twilight Saga (Read: “˜LOST’ Star Maggie Grace Joins The Cast Of “˜The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn’), and now fan-favorite Josh Holloway has been cast in another high-profile sequel.

Brad Bird To Direct Tom Cruise In ‘Mission: Impossible IV’
  |  @   |

Brad Bird is best known for his work on animated feature films. He wrote and directed The Iron Giant, as well as both The Incredibles and Ratatouille for Pixar. The deal will also include Cruise as a producer on the film along with J.J. Abrams, who directed the third film but will not be directing here. This is not very surprising: the first film in 1996 was directed by Brian De Palma while Mission: Impossible II was directed by John Woo, so it’s something of a personality trait for each film to have a different big director.
