Occupy Wall Street dominates discussion on this week’s edition of Social Blend, among other topics including the sad news of Steve Jobs passing away, and the anniversary of Nirvana‘s Nevermind.
Joining the discussion for this episode is Jeremy Rosen from Roadrunner Records (who kindly brought along some Opeth and Dream Theater for us to play) and musician Terr Ciavarra aka Media Nox.
In celebration of the 20th anniversary of what’s widely considered to be one of the greatest albums ever recorded, Nirvana‘s Nevermind, many will no doubt be asking one question: “I wonder what happened to the baby from the album’s cover!”
The baby, recognized my millions of people as the infant swimming naked after a $1 bill, is named Spencer Elden, and he is now 20 years old. And as you might have expected, he’s often still referred to as the “Nirvana Baby.”
Continue on below now to see the famous album cover recreated in 2008 by Elden, and to see a video of him talking about the anniversary on CNN!
