For every major blockbuster film out there, you can be sure that the studio marketing team will have a set of character posters printed and ready for release. With Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker just a few more weeks away from hitting theaters, we will start to see more and more print and videos from the marketing campaign. Case in point, these new character posters which see familiar faces and some newer characters. Check them out below.
It’s hard to imagine that a nine-film arc like Star Wars has been able to sustain itself over a 42-year span. Now that story comes to an epic conclusion with Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, which closes the book on the Skywalker saga which first started in 1977. The original trilogy centered mainly on Luke’s path, while the prequel trilogy focused more on Anakin’s path towards the dark side. This latest trilogy is ushering in a new dynamic, which sees Han Solo and General Leia’s son, Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) embracing the dark side, while the mysterious Rey (Daisy Ridley) fights to bring balance to the Force. And it appears that director J.J. Abrams is running on all cylinders to make sure that the final film in the trilogy and the Skywalker saga has a proper ending.
While we have seen two trailers and some footage so far, we still know very little about the film itself. But Abrams and some of the cast have now opened up about the sequel a little bit. See what they had to say below.
No matter the trilogy, Star Wars has revolved around the Skywalker family and two warring factions. But next month, it all comes to an epic conclusion with Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. The film is still a little over a month away from release, the cast and crew have been making the typical media rounds at Star Wars Celebration and D23, and the marketing team has released trailers, footage, and more.
Now, in an effort to increase that huge hype, a new handful of images have been released that see Rey (Daisy Ridley) going through some lightsaber training with a very familiar remote, a legion of stormtroopers storming a snowy location, and Poe (Oscar Isaac) piloting the Millennium Falcon. Check out these new images below.

Even six years after its release, Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Frozen never stopped being a magical phenomenon as it continued on to thrive with its animated short Frozen Fever and its made-for-TV special Olaf’s Frozen Adventure. While both were fun expansions on the franchise, they weren’t really the deep dives into the original film’s characters or mythology that we would expect to see. Though Frozen 2 is not as narratively strong as the first, it is a rare Disney-animated musical sequel that is still a force to be reckoned with because of its emphasis on character development and continuing to echo the themes of female empowerment, while pushing the boundaries in its music and visuals. Practically everyone who has seen Toy Story 3 would agree that it was a perfect end to a long trilogy that defines Pixar Animation Studios. So it was a bit hard to understand why they would ever want to continue the franchise given how it all ended.
However, Toy Story 4 defies that by giving its fans the perfect epilogue. And now we get to bring that home on 4K, Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital. Along with the terrific sequel, there are a ton of bonus features to look forward to, all of which we will cover in our review below.
