‘Jack The Giant Slayer’ Trailer: Dull Visuals Abound In Bryan Singer’s Reimagined Fantasy
  |  @   |

When the first Jack The Giant Slayer trailer came out a few months back it was met with overwhelmingly negative reviews, which prompted Warner Bros. to push back the film’s release from June 2012 all the way to March 2013. Now the studio has released a new trailer in hopes that you will be swayed to watch this giant fairy tale adaptation.

Check out the latest trailer for Bryan Singer‘s Jack The Giant Trailer here below.

The film stars Nicholas Hoult (X-Men: First Class) as Jack, a humble farmer who must rescue a princess (Eleanor Tomlinson) and save the kingdom from a hoard of giants. Ewan McGregor, Stanley Tucci, Bill Nighy, Ian McShane and Warwick Davis also star.

While the cast may be great and the look and the dialogue has improved a little bit since we last saw footage for the film, the real problem lies within the film’s visuals. The giants don’t seem real at all, which makes it worse when we see the humans interact with them. But who knows, maybe the film’s saving grace can be its humor.

Jack The Giant Slayer opens in theaters and in 3D on March 1, 2013.

Here’s the synopsis.

Jack the Giant Slayer tells the story of an ancient war that is reignited when a young farmhand unwittingly opens a gateway between our world and a fearsome race of giants. Unleashed on the Earth for the first time in centuries, the giants strive to reclaim the land they once lost, forcing the young man, Jack (Nicholas Hoult) into the battle of his life to stop them. Fighting for a kingdom, its people, and the love of a brave princess, he comes face to face with the unstoppable warriors he thought only existed in legend–and gets the chance to become a legend himself.
