Here’s The Tracklist For Edgar Wright’s ‘Baby Driver’ Soundtrack
  |  @   |

Golden Earring‘s “Radar Love”; The Button Down Brass‘ “Tequila”; Martha and the Vandellas‘ “Nowhere To Run”; and Incredible Bongo Band‘s “Bongolia”: these are just a few of the songs that can be heard in the trailers for Edgar Wright‘s Baby Driver. Since the film made its festival debut earlier this year at SXSW, critics have been feeding the hype machine, going as far as saying it is one of the best movies of the year.

Judging by the looks of the trailers and featurettes, it’s easy to see why. The action in Baby Driver practically syncs up to the music. And I say practically because I haven’t seen it yet. But if you are a fan of amazing soundtracks, then the newly released tracklist for the film’s soundtrack should have your attention. Check out which songs made the cut, below.

Thanks to NME.com for providing the list.

  • 1. Jon Spencer Blues Explosion – “˜Bellbottoms’

  • As you can see, there is a total of 30 songs on this soundtrack, but it’s not clear if all 30 will make it into the movie itself. Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy went through something similar when Norman Greenbaum’s “Spirit In the Sky” was on the soundtrack, but not heard in the film. David Bowie’s “Suffergate City” was heard in the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 trailer, but was not in the film or soundtrack. Still, the soundtrack for Baby Driver is something that should be on every music lover’s must-have list. I mean to go from Blur‘s “Intermission” to Barry White‘s “Never, Never Gone Give Ya Up” may sound strange at first, but never expect anything less from a raucous soundtrack like Baby Driver.

Here’s the film’s official plot synopsis.

A talented, young getaway driver (Ansel Elgort) relies on the beat of his personal soundtrack to be the best in the game. When he meets the girl of his dreams (Lily James), Baby sees a chance to ditch his criminal life and make a clean getaway. But after being coerced into working for a crime boss (Kevin Spacey), he must face the music when a doomed heist threatens his life, love and freedom.

Baby Driver stars Ansel Elgort, Kevin Spacey, Lily James, Jon Bernthal, Eiza González, Jon Hamm, and Jamie Foxx.
