And in this age where streaming is currently king, this merge might prove to be beneficial for both parties as more and more entertainment giants are launching their own streaming services. CBS has found huge success with Star Trek: Discovery on its CBS All Access streaming platform. And now they are expanding the franchise with a new television series Star Trek: Picard. The spin-off series will feature Jean-Luc Picard (Sir Patrick Stewart) 20 years after the events of the film Star Trek: Nemesis (2002). Now we are getting a first look at the series.
