Last year we learned that a horror comedy from Tucker & Dale vs. Evil director Eli Craig titled Little Evil was coming to Netflix. Now the streaming service has released an official trailer for the movie, which stars Adam Scott and Evangeline Lilly.
The movie follows a man (played by Scott) who just got married (to Lilly’s character)…only to find out that his new stepson happens to be the Antichrist. It’s basically The Omen, but with a healthy dose of comedy mixed in.
A new horror comedy is on its way to Netflix titled Little Evil, and it is set to star Evangeline Lilly (LOST, The Hobbit, Ant-Man) and Adam Scott (Parks and Recreation, Step Brothers, Krampus).
The movie is the second feature from writer and director Eli Craig. His first was another horror comedy, Tucker & Dale vs. Evil. In it Scott’s character, named Gary, has just married Lilly’s character, named Samantha, only to discover that her six-year-old son is actually the Antichrist.
Back in October of 2011, it was reported that a TV series based on the hit horror-comedy Zombieland was being set up at Fox. That never played out as expected, and the series moved on to look for new homes.
It appears that home has been found at Amazon, who has entered into negotiations to take that very same Zombieland series away from your TVs and to their streaming service.
A new poster has been released for the indie horror–comedy Tucker & Dale vs. Evil. The movie stars Alan Tudyk (Firefly, Transformers: Dark of the Moon) and Tyler Labine (Reaper, Rise of the Planet of the Apes) as a couple of hillbillies who are mistaken for serial killers by a bunch of college kids who have seen far too many horror movies.
As you could see in the trailer, the movie is right along the same lines as other popular horror–comedies such as Shaun of the Dead, Slither, and Zombieland. It arrives in select theaters on September 30, 2011, but will also be available on video on demand services starting August 26. The two stars and director Eli Craig will also be making an appearance at this year’s San Diego Comic–Con convention.

In early July ’09, the world was informed that Alan Tudyk and Tyler Labine — stars of prematurely-canceled hits Firefly and Reaper — would be starring together in a horror comedy called Tucker & Dale vs. Evil. Now the movie has a little visual accompaniment with the discovery of the film’s trailer. This particular trailer apparently was first making rounds back in October via Bloody-Disgusting, but that run eluded these very eyes, and so it is here now if you missed it as I did!
The movie follows Tucker and Dale, two simpleton rednecks who are about to experience the “wrong place, wrong time” stigma to its most extreme level. When the duo discovers an abandoned cabin, they think it’s their luckiest of days, but when a string of mishaps leads a group of college kids to think that Tucker and Dale are vicious serial killers, the pair fall victim to the dreaded world of stereotypes and must find a way to set things right.
This trailer looks like it might just be a leaked version or a very early online peek, and it also could be considered NSFW, so click on over at your own risk to see it while you still can!
