Disney’s live-action adaptations of their animated classics have been enormous box office hits, so far. But now it is time to see how they will fare on the streaming front.
Their new take on Lady and the Tramp will be the first of those tests, as it is set to premiere on Disney+ in November. And with the service set to launch less than a month from now, the studio has released a brand new trailer. Check it out below.
Walt Disney Studios may have found huge success with its live-action adaptations of their animated classics through theatrical releases, but they have reserved a few special titles for Disney+, their exclusive streaming service. One of those new titles will be a retelling of Lady and The Tramp.
We got a first-hand look at the film at the D23 Expo on Friday in the form of the first trailer, which demonstrates that the new live-action version promises to be just as adorable as it is romantic. Check out the first trailer here below, which was introduced at the convention by its canine stars Rose (“Lady”) and Monty (“Tramp”) and their human co-star Yvette Nicole Brown, who also hosted the panel.
Now that we’ve seen what Disney can do to make lifelike CG animals in the live-action adaptations of their animated films, the studio is taking a rather unconventional step to making their formerly hand-drawn animated animal characters look alive. They will be using real lives ones.
There has been confirmation that director Charlie Bean (The LEGO Ninjago Movie) will be using real, live dogs for the live-action reimagining of Lady and the Tramp. More on the report below.

It’s Audrey’s (Mila Kunis) 30th birthday and everybody keeps asking her about her ex Drew (Justin Theroux), which after a myriad of mixed emotions, causes her to set his things on fire, with the help of aggressive nudging from her best friend Morgan (Kate McKinnon). Drew is very busy of course being almost killed in Lithuania almost 100 times.
Enter Sebastian (my #1 boyfriend Sam Heughan), who lures Audrey outside and into a van to tell her about Drew’s secret life as a CIA agent. Everybody is looking for this trophy which needs to get to Austria to “Verne” by tomorrow. Drew shows up, there’s a shootout, and he dies.
One of the biggest criticisms of the Transformers film franchise is that it looked nothing like the Transformers fans knew and loved. However, Bumblebee, the first Transformers film spinoff, represents something new and exciting. The teaser trailer gave us a brief look at the fan favorite Autobot’s first mission on Earth, as a VW Bug.
Now Paramount has released a brand new trailer for the film, and it’s filled with even more 80’s references and old school Transformers than you can roll out at. Check it out here below.
