The Making Of ‘Uncharted 4’ Part 1: “Evolution Of A Franchise” (Video)

We’ve seen plenty of trailers and gameplay previews for developer Naughty Dog’s next entry in the Uncharted series, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. Now it’s time to take a little peek behind the curtain.

The first video in a new series of making of videos has been released titled “The Evolution of a Franchise.” It’s the first of a total of five making of videos that will be released the rest of this month and into next month, and looks at not only the evolution of the Uncharted series but Naughty Dog as well. It also includes comments from those who have worked on the games, including some of the voice actors behind the characters.

‘Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End’ Story Trailer Released

A new story trailer has been released for developer Naughty Dog’s latest entry in the Uncharted series, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.

The trailer offers a closer look at the game’s story, which sees retired treasure hunter Nathan Drake forced back into the world he loved but chose to leave behind for one last adventure.

New ‘Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End’ Release Date Set

Naughty Dog, the developer behind the Uncharted and The Last of Us games, has announced a new release date for the fourth title in the former series, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.

We’ve already seen plenty of gameplay previews of the next adventure of Nathan Drake, and now the game enters its final stretch of polishing before it will hit store shelves on April 26th of next year.

Extended ‘Uncharted 4’ Driving Gameplay Demo Released

During the madness of E3 2015 a new gameplay demo for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End was shared, revealing a section of the game in which protagonist Nathan Drake and Sully find themselves in a shootout and then a high-speed chase after his brother Sam, with you the player is doing the driving.

The 7-minute demo ended with a bit of a cliffhanger as Drake found himself in a pretty rough situation and things did not look all that great for him. Thankfully an extended version of this demo has now been released that features a similar but slightly different version of the E3 gameplay demo that keeps right on going for another seven minutes or so, for a grand total 15-minute demo that reveals how the chase after his brother ends and adds another little teaser to the mix.

E3 2015: ‘Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End’ Driving Gameplay

The big news coming out of Sony’s E3 2015 showcase was undoubtedly the long-awaited return of The Last Guardian and the surprise announcement of a Final Fantasy VII remake and Shenmue III. But more expected upcoming games were also covered.

The Last of Us developer Naughty Dog was on hand to show a new gameplay demo for their highly anticipated Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. The new demo reveals the ability to drive a vehicle in the game, as a wildly destructive high-speed chase unfolds. Whether there will be more driving in the game or just this one crazy chase is not known at the moment.
