A new adaptation of the Charles Dickens classic A Christmas Carol is on the way. This one will be a musical, with Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell set to star.
Now this latest take on A Christmas Carol has a home. After a bidding war which included Netflix, Warner Bros., and Paramount all making offers to acquire the movie, it was Apple who ultimately won the project and is now in final negotiations to complete the acquisition. And it sounds like they dropped some big money on the table to pass all other bidders.
Everybody hustling. Including Constance Wu, Jennifer Lopez, Julia Stiles, Keke Palmer, Lili Reinhart, Lizzo, and Cardi B who all star in a new film which is called Hustlers. They star as a group of former strip club employees who decide to band together and come up with a plan to take back from the Wall Street types they often had to deal with at work.
Now STX has released the first trailer for the female ensemble film, which will see them take the power back, especially from those who don’t play by the rules. Check out the trailer below.
A couple of months back we saw a restricted trailer for Booksmart, which marks Alpha Dog and TRON: Legacy star Olivia Wilde‘s feature directorial debut. The movie stars Kaitlyn Dever and Beanie Feldstein as a pair of straight-A students who decide it’s time to go to a party and live it up a bit before they have to head off to college.
Now a pair of final trailers have been released by Annapurna. One is another restricted trailer, which is not so safe for workplace viewing, while the other is a short safer for work trailer. You can find both of these final Booksmart trailers below along with some bonus previously released videos, including a green band trailer, featurettes, and the uncut first six minutes of the movie, and a pair of posters.

Elf is the story of Buddy (Will Ferrell), an orphan who as a baby, crawled into Santa’s bag and accidentally went to the North Pole. One of the elves (Bob Newhart) decides to raise him as his own. 30 years later, Buddy is the biggest elf in the toyshop and not very good at making toys. He accidentally overhears that not only is he not an elf, but he is a human and his father is in New York City. Not only that, he is on the “naughty list.” Hoping to find him anyway for a special reunion, Buddy begins his journey to New York for Christmas.
The adventures of mild-mannered master builder Emmet (Chris Pratt) will continue in The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part. The full title for the sequel was announced over the film’s official Twitter account earlier today, along with a teaser image. And while we may not know a whole lot about the movie itself, we know that it will be released February of next year, which was the time of year that the first movie dropped. Check out more on the story below.
