The show will be released in full this Spring and follows blind attorney Matt Murdock who doubles as the vigilante Daredevil who’s “just trying to make his city a better place.”

As a lawyer by day, Murdock works to clean up the streets of his neighborhood in New York City. By night, he becomes the Daredevil and fights criminals in his quest to improve his neighborhood of Hell’s Kitchen. The trailer gives us a brief glance of Murdock’s mentor named Stick, played by Scott Glenn, who trains him to hone his abilities. We also get a look (albeit just from behind) of Daredevil’s main antagonist The Kingpin, played by Vincent D’Onofrio. Cox will be joined by Deborah Ann Woll, Ayelet Zurer, Elden Henson, and Rosario Dawson.

Also starring are Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Marianna, Bob Gunton as Leland Owlsley, Toby Leonard Moore as Wesley, Vondie Curtis-Hall as Ben Urich.

Back in October we got to see footage from the series NYCC, will in December, we learned more about the Netflix original series — which is reportedly meant to feel more like a crime story, not a superhero show — and its connection to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
