Crazy Complicated ‘Battlefield 4’ Easter Egg Discovered (Video)
  |  @   |

Movie Easter eggs are fun little things to look for while watching. Easter eggs in video games are often the same thing, but sometimes the developers make you work to find them. DICE, the developer behind the Battlefield series, Star Wars: Battlefront, and the Mirror’s Edge games, has a reputation for including some great hidden secrets, but they often make you work to find them.

In no other case has this been more true than the latest Easter egg found in Battlefield 4. The game has been out for two years now, but new content is still being released for those who still play the game. Recently a new map titled “Dragon Valley” was released, which is an updated take on a Battlefield 2 map. And within this newly released map is one of the craziest, most complicated series of puzzles you’re ever going to see just to unlock a little hidden surprise.

You can see how the latest Battlefield 4 Easter egg plays out in the video below.

Wait, What? Next ‘Battlefield’ Game Goes Cops vs. Criminals With ‘Hardline’
  |  @   |

A recent leak seemed to indicate that the next game in Electronic Arts’ Battlefield franchise would be straying from the realms of military conflict and entering some kind of much smaller cops and robbers territory, to put it simply.

This has now been confirmed with the unveiling of an official website for Battlefield: Hardline. Unlike other entries in the series, however, it sounds as if the newest game will offer its single player campaign in episodic fashion in addition to the expected multiplayer options. It’s said to be somewhat along the same lines as the FX series The Shield as far as the characters and action goes.

Watch Now: Story Trailer For ‘Battlefield 4’ Released
  |  @   |

EA’s Battlefield and Activision’s Call of Duty franchises are set to go head-to-head once again with the release on Battlefield 4 on October 29th, and Call of Duty: Ghosts on November 5th.

We’ve seen a campaign trailer for Ghosts already, which appears to be attempting to offer a much better story than previous games (supported by their decision to bring in Oscar-winning Traffic screenwriter Steven Gaghan to work on the game). And now comes a story trailer for Battlefield 4, which also looks to be upping the story quality.

You can check out the new trailer below.

E3 2013: New ‘Battlefield 4’ Gameplay Demo & Multiplayer Demo Videos
  |  @   |

As expected, Dice and EA had plenty of new goodies to show off at E3 2013 for their next installment in the Battlefield franchise, Battlefield 4.

First came a brand new gameplay demo, and while it’s not as long as the first one we saw, it is every bit as intense. Ever seen an aircraft carrier split in half in the middle of the ocean? Dormant fighter jets and gravity used against your enemies? Buckle up. Then came the first multiplayer demo for the game, which shows off Commander mode.

Check out both Battlefield 4 demos below now.
