During San Diego Comic-Con 2019 this past summer an official trailer was released for His Dark Materials, a TV series adaptation of author Philip Pullman‘s fantasy book trilogy of the same name being co-produced by HBO and the BBC.
Now HBO has released a second official trailer for the series, which already has a two-season commitment. You can find much more info and give the new trailer a watch below.
StudioCanal has released a teaser trailer for The Secret Garden, a new adaptation of author Frances Hodgson Burnett‘s classic 1911 novel of the same name.
The movie comes from Harry Potter, Paddington, and Gravity producer David Heyman and his Heyday Films. Colin Firth, Dixie Egerickx, Edan Hayhurst, Maeve Dermody, Jemma Powell, Amir Wilson, Sonia Goswami, and Julie Walters star in the adaptation.
You can find the trailer for The Secret Garden along with a synopsis below.
The Paddington films are so tenderly sweet, innocent, and loving. It’s hard to resist their charms. When films are as universally loved as they are, you can be sure that studios want someone like director Paul King on board for one of their projects.
Disney, who has been re-envisioning their animated films and turning them into live-action ones, will now bring in King to direct their live-action telling of Pinocchio. More on the story below.
We found out earlier this year that a sci-fi anthology series titled Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams was coming to Amazon from Ronald D. Moore and Bryan Cranston.
Now Amazon has set an official premiere date for the anthology, which features an excellent cast including Cranston, Steve Buscemi, Greg Kinnear, Anna Paquin, Terrence Howard, Timothy Spall, Maura Tierney, Janelle Monáe, Richard Madden, Holliday Grainger, Mel Rodriguez, Liam Cunningham, Vera Farmiga, Juno Temple, Jack Reynor, Essie Davis, Benedict Wong, Geraldine Chaplin, David Lyons, Annalise Basso, Mireille Enos, and Rachelle Lefevre.
This isn’t the Star Wars: Episode IX director you are looking for.
Well, at least that is the case with Colin Trevorrow (Jurassic World). Lucasfilm has announced that Trevorrow will no longer be directing Star Wars: Episode IX. More on the story below.
