Gamescom 2015: ‘Mafia III’ Trailer, Screenshots, Story Info
  |  @   |

As promised, the first trailer for Mafia III was released earlier today at Gamescom 2015. It’s only a cinematic trailer, but it’s a pretty darn good one. It’s basically the mini story behind that first image we saw when the game was officially announced last week.

Just as the last game saw the primary protagonist Vito returning from World War II, this third game has you playing as a Vietnam War vet. And speaking of Vito, he will be a character in the game and can be seen in the trailer. You can watch the trailer, see some screenshots, and read some story information below.

‘Mafia III’ Officially Confirmed; Trailer Coming Next Week

We all have a nice list of games from the last console generation that stood out as our favorites, that we enjoyed playing more than all of the others. One of the games on my own personal list, is Mafia II.

It might not be considered a great game, and it does have its fair share of flaws, but there’s plenty of things about it that I really loved. And it wasn’t the mafia stuff, the running around and shooting and such (though that was plenty of fun as well). I was won over early.

There have been whispers of a third game in the series here and there since the last one was released in 2010, and today it has been confirmed: Mafia III is on the way.
