The pose. The music. And, of course, that exchange of pleasantries. These are just some of the recognizable staples of Charlie’s Angels. And it is all there in Sony Pictures’ new telling of the titular film directed by Elizabeth Banks (Pitch Perfect 2).
And with these new tellings comes a brand new cast and vision. Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska are the new Angels, with Banks playing the role of Bosley. But those aren’t the only changes that we are seeing. Check out the trailer below.
An official trailer for The Nightingale has been released by IFC Films. The movie is the latest from Jennifer Kent, who wrote and directed the 2014 horror hit The Babadook.
The Nightingale is a revenge tale starring Aisling Franciosi, who briefly played Lyanna Stark in the recently concluded Game of Thrones, and is set in early 1800s Australia. Sam Claflin, Baykali Ganambarr, Michael Sheasby, Damon Herriman, and Ewen Leslie also star.

Universal Pictures has just released the second trailer for The Huntsman: Winter’s War starring Chris Hemsworth reprising his role as the title character and Charlize Theron, who also returns to reprise her role as Ravenna, the Evil Queen. The film is a prequel and sequel of sorts that is set before and after the events of Snow White And The Huntsman. Trust me, the trailer doesn’t make it exactly clear which one of the two it is. The two will be joined by Emily Blunt, who plays Freya, the Ice Queen and sister of Raveena, and Jessica Chastain, Sara, the Warrior, Eric’s (Hemsworth) lover.
Lionsgate has released a new trailer for the The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2, the final installment of The Hunger Games film franchise. But this isn’t a traditional trailer by any means, instead of showing footage of the action, tension, and romance, it focuses solely on the bonds between Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and Primrose Everdeen (Willow Shields), and shows how their relationship has evolved throughout the three films.
The first full day of the Hall H festivities started off with its biggest panel of the day for Lionsgate’s The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part II. The film franchise comes to its end later this year, after having grossed over $1 billion at the box office worldwide. The studio has done some brilliantmarketing in the past, which is expected to continue until its release.
But today is one of the biggest days to promote the movie, and moderator Conan O’Brien was on hand to talk to director Francis Lawrence, producer Nina Jacobson, and film stars Willow Shields, Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, and Jennifer Lawrence about the final half of the final chapter of the series.
