A sequel to Resident Evil co-creator Shinji Mikami and his Tango Gameworks’ 2014 survival horror title, The Evil Within 2 was released recently. The game follows Sebastian Castellanos, who once again finds himself in a nightmarish world in an attempt to locate and save the daughter he thought he had lost.
I’m in an unusual position with this one, as I haven’t actually played The Evil Within…for reasons I’ll dive into a little later. But when the opportunity to review the sequel presented itself, I decided to give it a go simply to present a unique perspective to anyone out there who may be interested in playing despite having not played the first game. Plus, it is the right time of year. Suffice it to say, it was an interesting experience.
Horror sequel The Evil Within 2 hits store shelves this week, and publisher Bethesda Softworks has released a red band launch trailer for the game.
In the sequel, which was again developed by Tango Gameworks, Sebastian once again must fight through unspeakable horrors as he searches for his long lost daughter. Continue below to read more about the game and check out the new trailer.
Bethesda has released a new gameplay trailer for The Evil Within 2, the sequel to developer Tango Gameworks’ 2014 horror, titled “Race Against Time.”
In the sequel, you once again play as Sebastian Castellanos as he must fight through a nightmarish world to find his daughter before it’s too late. You can read much more about The Evil Within 2 and check out the new gameplay trailer below.
To go along with the announcement of the sequel Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, Bethesda also announced The Evil Within 2 during their E3 2017 showcase. The game comes from the studio behind the original game, Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami and his Tango Gameworks.
The announcement was made with a trailer, but it didn’t end there. A release date for the sequel was also revealed, and fans of the first game will not have to wait long to get their hands on it. On top of that, a gameplay trailer has also been released.

Another gameplay video has been released for The Evil Within. The game will be released on October 14th, just in time to really inject some scary into your Halloween season.
In this new video, titled “Fight For Life,” some of the nightmarish enemies you’ll come face to face with are shown, and they are an unpleasant bunch to behold. Also touched on is some of the ways you might be able to deal with said enemies, especially if you pay attention.
