‘Altered Carbon’: Watch A Featurette For Netflix’s Cyberpunk Series

Netflix has released another preview for their cyberpunk series Altered Carbon, which is based on Richard Morgan‘s book of the same name.

The latest video is a featurette, in which cast and crew behind the series including creator Laeta Kalogridis and stars Joel Kinnaman, Ato Essandoh, Martha Higareda, and Will Yun Lee, talk about the show. Also starring is James Purefoy, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Kristin Lehman, Dichen Lachman, and Leonardo Nam.

Final ‘San Andreas’ Trailer Starring Dwayne Johnson

There are some real world issues that some studios cannot foresee. For instance, the recent devastating Nepal earthquake death toll has exceed 7,000. Unfortunately, Warner Bros. would be releasing San Andreas, whose subject matter is dealing with a fictionalized account of a magnitude 9.0 earthquake centered along the infamous fault line.

Dwayne Johnson plays a helicopter rescue pilot who now must save his ex-wife (Carla Gugino) and his daughter (Alexandra Daddario) from the aftermath of the quake and the following aftershocks. We’ve seen a bit of the destructive force in the previous trailer, but this latest one is sure to reinforce the idea that there is no way of hiding from an earthquake. Stripped of his immortality and vulnerable for the first time, Logan is pushed to his physical and emotional limits as he battles the yakuza, ninjas, samurai, and his own inner demons.

Mangold’s film begins with a bearded, long-haired Logan living in the Alaskan wilderness. He’s tracked by Yukio (Rila Fukushima) and summoned to Japan, where her dying employer, Yashida (Hal Yamanouchi), wishes to say good-bye to an old friend.

‘The Wolverine Teaser’: 6 Seconds Of Wolverine In Japan, Bondage & Flashbacks

Vine gives us a whole new way of viewing the world of social media. You can tell an entire story with just one 6-second (or less) video. Studios have caught on to the craze and are now releasing portions of their movie in six seconds and redefining the way we see teasers. The latest marketing bit using Vine comes from Fox who will be releasing The Wolverine on July 26, 2013.

Anyone who watches the teaser for The Wolverine can assume that a lot will happen in this trailer. The full trailer lands later this week, which will give us a better glimpse at the plot of the film.

Svetlana Khodchenkova May Be Viper In James Mangold’s ‘The Wolverine’

Just a week after it was announced that Jessica Biel was in talks to play Viper in James Mangold‘s The Wolverine, it was announced that she was no longer in talks to play as the venomous character. That left another empty spot on the casting list, and with Mangold ready to start production, the search for a replacement began.

But the search is now over again, because Svetlana Khodchenkova is in talks to play as Viper. According to sources, even though negotiations are being held it’s expected that the deal will be completed very soon.
