When we last left John Wick (Keanu Reeves) in John Wick: Chapter 2, he was using whatever time Winston (Ian McShane) gave him to outrun the assassins that were after the bounty on his head. It’s clear that we will see a new eclectic mix of killers this time around. Now with John Wick: Chapter 3 currently in production, we are getting an early look at who some of those fun assassins may be.
Halle Berry, Anjelica Huston, Jason Mantzoukas, Asia Kate Dillon, and Mark Dacascos are now joining the cast. And to make sure the threat is real, John Wick will also have to face the likes of Yayan Ruhian and Cecep Arif Rahman (of The Raid) and more. More on the story below.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens already tops many critics most anticipated lists, and with good reason. But the latest news is giving us another reason to be excited for this very highly anticipated film.
If the reports are true, three of the principle actors from The Raid and The Raid 2: Iko Uwais, Yayan Ruhian (who played Mad Dog and Prakoso in the films), and Cecep Arif Rahman (who played “The Assassin” and had a fight scene towards the end of The Raid 2) have roles in the film, and could be involved in a much larger capacity. And if you have seen either of Gareth Evans’ films, that means the action sequences in J.J. Abrams‘ upcoming movie should be awesome. Hit the jump for the full report.

Rama sheds his old identity and becomes Yuda, a violent offender who is sent to a Jakarta prison for his crimes. While there, he gains the confidence of Uco (Arifin Putra), the son of Bangun (Tio Pakusadewo) – a feared mob boss who runs crime in Jakarta. They just don’t make action movies like they used to…or so it sometimes seems. Every once in a while one comes along that reminds us of that old school high-paced action we love so very much, and one such movie is The Raid: Redemption.
The movie consists of a simple premise: a team of elite cops sets off to an old run down 30-story apartment building to take out a deadly drug lord who runs the building with his men, while also allowing others to rent out rooms, usually to the city’s most dangerous criminals. The raid is supposed to go smoothly, but others have tried before and failed, and when word gets out that the squad is there, pure anarchy ensues. Now the cops are no longer fighting to complete their mission, but to escape the building alive.
