It’s almost the end for our inaugural season of Gotham! We have a little recap of last week’s episode, a review of this week’s, and lots of clips below for you to enjoy!

Selina (Camren Bicondova) made her first kill last week (check out that video below), pushing Reggie out of the window after he said he was gonna tell. She will be forever different now and is one step closer to being Catwoman. A cop asked Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) to look into a case for him, setting him up to start looking for The Ogre (Milo Ventimiglia). Harvey Bullock (Donal Logue) warns him to drop it, explaining that The Ogre goes after the loved ones of anyone investigating him. Even though it was a setup, Jim can’t walk away. More women will die.

Gotham 1.20 “Under The Knife” review: The Ogre is getting ballsy, calling Jim on the phone to warn him to back off or else. We know our Jim Gordon by now. That will just make him chomp down harder. He is doing everything possible to make sure Dr. Thompkins (Morena Baccharin) is safe. As the clips and previews have shown us, he forgot all about Barbara (Erin Richards).
When he does realize who The Ogre has targeted, he races away.

We know he ends up marrying her, but he seemingly had forgotten all about her. Maybe this is the way the Batman universe rights itself.

Bruce (David Mazouz) and Selina go to the charity ball, but are at odds at what Selina calls “no choice.” Still, they still have a lot of work to do to try to figure out who in the company is behind all the violence.

Ms. Kringle’s boyfriend is not as nice as he seems. Ed (Cory Michael Smith) comes to her defense and is changed forever. His scene is the craziest one of the episode.

Don Maroni (David Zayas) messes with Penguin’s mind, and his mother. His mother should know better.

There is a 50 shades moment that is so much better than the movie.

This episode was superb, with a special shout-out to Cory Michael Smith for going all in with his last scene.

Gotham airs Monday nights at 8pm ET on FOX.
