It’s now been over two years since we first found out about The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, a live-action prequel to Jim Henson‘s 1982 puppet feature The Dark Crystal.
We’ve since seen a teaser trailer and a featurette for the prequel series. And now, with just a couple of weeks left before the first season arrives, a final trailer has been released.

The prequel alone was already exciting, but the series also features an insane voice cast led by Taron Egerton, Anya Taylor-Joy, and Nathalie Emmanuel, who play three Gelfling heroes named Rian, Brea, and Deet.

Netflix has announced a massive voice cast for The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, a prequel series based on Jim Henson‘s 1982 hit The Dark Crystal.
The voice cast is led by Taron Egerton, Anya Taylor-Joy, and Nathalie Emmanuel, who play the show’s three Gelfling heroes (seen above), named Rian, Brea, and Deet. But there are so many more familiar names involved, as well.

Hosting an awards show like the Oscars is not as glamorous as it used to be. With ratings continuing to decrease, it’s nearly impossible to find someone who wants to take on the gig. Even when they do manage to find someone, how well (or poorly) the show is received may very well be on them.
