Walker Stalker Con 2018: ‘The Walking Dead’ FanFest Takes NJ
All reports of The Walking Dead‘s demise have been greatly overstated. By 9:15am on Saturday (over an hour before doors opened to the general public), the parking lot of the New Jersey Convention and Expo Center was jam packed and lines were forming outside for this year’s Walker Stalker Con. When the doors opened at 10:30am, it was as if the zombies had broken through the gates! Fans of the AMC television series, which is currently in its ninth season, packed the convention hall to meet their favorite stars, get autographs, take photos, and sit for Q&A panels.

NYCC 2018: ‘The Walking Dead’ Panel Confirms The Return Of Some Old Faces
The Walking Dead Panel closed out New York Comic-Con Saturday night at the Hulu Theater at MSG, and it was bittersweet, as it was Andrew Lincoln‘s last one as Rick Grimes, as this is his last season as the popular character. Chris Hardwick (The Talking Dead) moderated, and after a bunch of amazing trailers and The Walking Dead commercials, he introduced the dazzling cast and crew: new showrunner Angela Kang, Scott Gimple, co-creator Robert Kirkman, producer Dave Alpert, executive producer Gale Ann Hurd, producer and director Greg Nicotero, stars Andrew Lincoln (Rick), Norman Reedus (Daryl), Melissa McBride (Carol), Danai Gurira (Michonne), and Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Negan).

Book Spotlight: The Quotable Negan By Robert Kirkman
The Quotable Negan
Warped Witticisms and Obscene Observations from The Walking Dead’s Most Iconic Villain
Hardcover | Kindle
Written by Robert Kirkman
Publisher: Skybound Books
Release date: July 3, 2018
On AMC’s The Walking Dead, Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) is my favorite character. I know, I know… he killed Glenn and Abraham (also 2 of my faves), but it is not his murder streak that makes me love him. It’s his goddamn witty sayings that accompany his actions. It’s his way of finding the humor in everything, even when surrounded by a horde of hungry zombies, or handing out death like a deck of cards. I just about ate up Skybound’s little book about TWD‘s big man.
More below on The Quotable Negan: Warped Witticisms and Obscene Observations from The Walking Dead’s Most Iconic Villain by Robert Kirkman.
