Can you believe it? Harley Quinn (or Harleen Quinzel) of the DC universe has been in existence for 25 years, and she’s more popular than ever. In a panel on Friday, October 7 at New York Comic-Con, fans were treated to a celebratory session delving into the iconic character. Harley Quinn comic book writers Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti, along with Tor.com staff writer Emily Asher-Perrin, led the discussion. The room was a sea of Harley Quinn cosplayers, including myself!

Is it possible for a man to truly get away with murder? In Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray‘s Abbadon, a sadistic serial killer is on the loose and two men with a complicated history will do everything in their power to ensure that the culprit is brought to justice.
When a series of gruesome murders befalls the western town of Abbadon, the famous U.S. Marshall Wes Garrett is called in to put his reputation to the test. Reluctantly working side by side with the sheriff of the town, Colt Dixon, Garrett wastes no time in looking for answers. But as the investigation deepens — and more bodies begin to pile up — it would seem a copycat killer is on the loose — one who brutally murders in the same way as the man who gave Garrett his renowned name.

I’m going to show you a really cool adult themed Kickstarter from Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray but I’m also going to feature some information they provided to me via interview questions. I’ve long since stuck to a basic format for talking these crowdfunding projects up but I’m needing to mix it up a bit. Let me know if you like one style better than another.
As you can imagine from the title, Sex and Violence Volume Two contains two major themes. Sex and violence, duh. Breaking loose from the bonds of everyday comics, these two writers have pushed the boundaries before and they are out to do it again!
