Warner Bros. Pictures has released the final trailer for Godzilla: King of the Monsters ahead of its release next month.
The movie is the latest in Legendary and WB’s shared cinematic universe called the MonsterVerse, which began with 2014’s Godzilla and continued with 2017’s Kong: Skull Island. In it, the title titan will face off against formidable foes such as Mothra, Rodan, and King Ghidorah.

At the start of the year, it was reported that Daredevil season one showrunner and Starz’s Spartacus creator Steven S. DeKnightwould be directingPacific Rim 2. The first movie, which was released in 2013, was directed by Guillermo del Toro.
Now comes word that the movie has found its star. It’s been announced that John Boyega, who was most recently seen in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, has been locked in for the lead role in the sequel. And who is he playing? The son of Idris Elba‘s fan-favorite character.

After helming the underrated sci-fi drama Moon and the equally exciting Source Code, Duncan Jones is going to take on a tentpole film, a first in his directing career. THR reports that Jones has signed on to direct Warcraft, based on the popular Blizzard MMORPG game World of Warcraft.
The project will be under the Legendary Pictures banner, with Thomas Tull and Jon Jashni producing. Also producing are Atlas Entertainment’s Charles Roven and Alex Gartner.
